We told you about a pink bathroom on Madison Avenue last week. Today, here's an entire room that's been hit with a rosy streak—this time, in the name of charity.

Crowne Plaza White Plains is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month (which doesn't actually start until October, but hey) with two special pink-accented rooms that automatically donate 10 percent of the room rate to the American Cancer Society. So as you turn off your hot pink bedside lamp, remove your furry pink throw pillows, and snuggle down into your hot pink sheets, be comforted by the fact that just by staying in a hotel, you've actually made a contribution. Easy!

Though White Plains may not be the most happenin' travel destination, we can at least support the use of bizarre room accents that are actually functional. Which hasn't been the case for certain other hotel rooms with misfired attempts at design flare.

Though pink rooms are unavailable for Labor Day weekend, call up to book for the weekend after, when rates start at $159 for Friday 9 and Saturday 10, and go up to $249 for Sunday 11. For now, the designated rooms are doubles.
