Oh, for the days when a lunch hour meant an actual hour. Mint Hotels are on the side of the boss with their new lunch menu, though - £10 per person for a two course lunch that they guarantee to serve in 45 minutes.

Dishes are pretty healthy-sounding, including chicken breast with roast pumpkin, and mackerel with bok choi, although menus change by the week. We have to admit, we're liking this new trend of quality hotel grub on the cheap. You hear that, hotels? $10/£10 lunches for all!

The deal is available between 12-1pm weekdays and 12.30-3pm Saturdays until 3 September. It’s £10 at the City Café restaurants in Mint Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Manchester. It’s £10.95 at Mint Westminster, and £12.50 at the Tower of London. You’ll also get a loyalty card that nets you a free lunch after five more visits.

The price also includes a free glass of house wine, beer or spirit with mixer. At least that’ll sweeten the return to the office.
