Only Thirteen Days 'Til Cornwall's Pop-Up Hotel Goes Bye-Bye

When was the last time you went camping? If you have to think about it, it's been too long. Which probably means you're a little rusty on the whole 'great outdoors' thing. To ease yourself back in, consider a night or two inside one of the Pop-Up Hotel's yurt-style rooms in Cornwall, England.

Rather than some other outlandish, gimmicky pop-ups we've seen in Europe, these are meant to be practical open-air retreats, modeled after the classic bell tent design. Of course, the alfresco high-life only gets you so far: once the bad weather hits (as it's prone to do in sunny England!), that sloping canvas roof might not look quite so appealing!

Pop-Up hotels will appear in various rural locations around England (the family-owned company is based in Somerset), and are aimed to coincide with major events like the Glastonbury Festival. In fact, the company's trial period, which seems to have gone well for guests, took place there.

As for the rooms themselves, expect full size double beds, wooden patio furniture, and wooden decks. Apparently, some suites will contain bathrooms, though no photos were visible on the website. The good news? Both rooms and suites come with a free cooked breakfast. Rooms range from £385 to £720, while suites are a little steeper, at £495-£995.

For the month of August, the company has "popped up" in Cornwall, where guests can enjoy a 30-minute walk down to Polzeath beach. But with only thirteen days left, you better act fast!
