Just last week we told you what was gonna be going inside the very first Radisson Blu Hotel in the U.S.--The Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago but we weren't able to tell you an opening date. That is, until now.

The Radisson Blu Aqua is now taking reservations for October 31st. Yes, Halloween. Spooky and exciting!

For opening day, rates start at $169 for a city-view king and go through $2,199 for the Aqua Suite, which offers 1,723 square feet of living space and lots of VIP amenities. No matter which room you choose, you'll get one of the best perks: free WiFi. Oh and for the hotel toiletry-obsessed, there will be Anne Semonin products in the bath.

Interestingly though, it looks like the hotel has done away with the cool-sounding room categories of Mansion House and Naturally Cool and have since replaced them with boring Superior rooms and Business Class rooms (the latter has access to the hotel's business lounge along with complimentary mineral water, espresso and bonus Carlson Club loyalty points.) We've got a line into the hotel to ask what happened here so we'll keep you posted.

That said, you better get started on planning not only your Halloween costume but your trip to Chicago as well. Oooooooooowweeeeooooooo.
