Construction has been ongoing for a while now, and it was only recently that a majority of the rubble was carted out of the still-unfinished lobby. How far along the rooms are upstairs, we weren't able to see. In fact, we had barely taken the above photo when a greasy-haired suit came up and calmly instructed us to "never take photos at a construction site." Got something to hide, Wyndham?
According to this report, the new website (which is available in English, Spanish, German, Portugese and Brazilian Portugese), and marketing campaign are supposed to convey the brand's three trademark features: "a cosmopolitan essence," "Mediterranean flavor," and "energetic spirit." Sounds fun.
Brand Senior VP Daniel del Olmo had this to say about the newly-launched campaign:
"Combining a unique look, font and photography, the creative brings a fresh, stylish twist to the select-service segment. And by promoting some of our key destinations in our ads, we’re proudly displaying that we are a solid brand, with hotels in cities where our guests want to go."
Panama City, Panama, and Bogotá, Colombia, are slated to open later this year.
