NASA to Land At The Eventi Hotel

When Yotel opened with a luggage-storing robot, it may have unknowingly set off a new trend in technology-related hotel tourist attractions. Take the upcoming NASA exhibit happening at Eventi Hotel, for example. While honoring NASA's accomplishments in space over the past 30 years, the "What's Your Favorite Space?" exhibit will also give the hotel an opportunity to flaunt its public courtyard space and giant TV screen.
According to a press release, the Eventi Plaza (home to open-air eatery BeerParc) will be transformed into an interactive science fair of sorts through virtual reality, a space rover, and, um, Legos. The best part? Tons of video games.
Several interactive 3-D virtual experiences, like Eyes On The Solar System, will make you forget all about gravity while you cruise through space on an asteroid. Another NASA-engineered game called Home and City highlights the impact of space technology on everyday chores (grocery shopping, public safety, travel). An additional station will allow youngsters to build airplanes, shuttles, or a moon base out of Legos.
Want to drive a Mars exploration rover across the Eventi Plaza? Sure, you can do that too.
"What's Your Favorite Space?" takes place on Wednesday August 17, from 10am–4pm, and you can check out the Eventi's event page on Facebook here.
