It's only been a few hours since we saw Rihanna perform at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, but we miss her already. So here we are, dutifully browsing various tabloid stories and YouTube videos of hers, and what do we find? Photos of the red-haired star leaving her Manhattan hotel yesterday morning en route to the venue.
Many celebrities are often photographed coming and going from their hotels, but unless the caption makes it clear, the paparazzi (whether deliberately or unconsciously, we're not entirely sure) often omit all indicators of the hotel itself. Except in this case. Though there is a hint on the awning of a nearby building, we found a much more obvious clue on the carpet under Rihanna's feet.
Yes, it is Manhattan's (almost) one-year-old black beauty, the Gansevoort Park. After receiving the holy TomKat blessing at its inaugural fete, the hotel is no stranger to celebs.
Rihanna's 29-city Loud Tour includes three consecutive nights in three separate East Coast destinations (East Rutherford, NJ, Uncasville, CT, and Philadelphia, PA), though it is unclear whether she will remain at the Gansevoort Park the entire time.
Fans waited outside to greet her yesterday morning as she left, dressed in a revealing black dress and sandals. Maybe she was able to squeeze in an early-morning swim.
