Finding two beds can actually be tricky in NYC. For instance, the Trump Soho doesn't have a rooms with two beds nor does the Element Times Square.
However, the Andaz Fifth Avenue does have two twin beds in their guestrooms as well as free WiFi. The downside is that the rooms are only 387-sq.ft. Same thing at the Muse Hotel and sister hotel, Ink48--twin beds, free WiFi (if you join Kimpton InTouch) but small rooms. Another option is The Strand Hotel which not only has free WiFi but complimentary breakfast as well.
All of those would have been a good hotel stay but after we made these suggestions, it turns out our friend actually booked a room at a hotel he's stayed at before--The Hilton New York.
Rooms with two double beds are located on the hotel's executive floor which gives guests access to the executive club lounge with its complimentary breakfast and hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. Cocktail hour may have been the selling point for our friend.
"It makes me feel like Don Draper when I go there. I always get an Old Fashion at the bar."
Our friend didn't take our hotel suggestions but we're ready and willing to take yours. Put in your recommendations for a hotel for two dudes in comments below!
