The Curious Case of Nicki Minaj and the Suitcase at the Hotel Palomar Dallas

Rapper Barbie Nicki Minaj slayed us last year with her guest rap on the Kanye West song, "Monster" but it looks like she's been battling some of her own demons recently, namely her assistant.

TMZ reports that Safaree Samuels struck Minaj with a suitcase (ouch!) after arguing by the outdoor infinity pool at the Hotel Palomar Dallas.

According to the police report, Nicki followed Samuels up to the room they were sharing, to make sure he didn't take any of her stuff. Nicki was in the room looking into her suitcase, which had some of Samuels' belongings, when she says he "grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved the suitcase across [Nicki's] chin and lower lip."

Nicki was cut on the inside lower part of her lip but she ultimately decided not to press charges. Then she went on Twitter (probably while using the free WiFi that comes at the Palomar, a Kimpton Hotel) and denied the whole incident ever happened. Her tweets below:

Oh how we wish Nicki Minaj was there when DSK was at the Sofitel the other month. "First things first, I'll eat your brain."

Nicki already had some hotel drama earlier this year when her unruly fans got her kicked out of the Dorchester in London. Since she's still on tour with Britney Spears, that means more hotel stays and we hope more hotel drama. Now, that Lindsay Lohan is supposedly cleaning up her act and Charlie Sheen is in seclusion, we need a new hotel-hopping celeb to entertain us.
