Andaz to Take Shanghai Very Soon, Like This Summer Soon

One of our favorite hotel brands out there, Andaz Hotels from Hyatt, has just stealthily revealed that their newest location in Shanghai will open THIS SUMMER.

We had a major Andazm in February when we heard that Andaz would be heading to the Far East but we didn't have many details. Now we do.

Our deep throat Hyatt source pointed us to the Andaz Shanghai website where it says the opening is happening this summer. Umm...since it's summer now, this could be like any day now so here's what to expect inside:

The newly constructed 24-storey hotel features 307 spacious guest rooms measuring 41 square metres, including 47 premium rooms and suites ranging from 80–409 square metres, all with vibrant views over Shanghai and impressive LED lighting where guests can customise the colour to suit their mood. As in all Andaz hotels, non-alcoholic minibar drinks and snacks, local telephone calls and wireless internet access are complimentary.

Oooo mood lighting! That's so going to be the must-have hotel amenity for 2011. Sadly, there are no pictures but there is the all-day patisserie Éclair to get excited about as well as the Andaz Studio which will feature six event spaces and a glass pavilion surrounded by water and perfect for a wedding or red carpet event.

The hotel isn't taking reservations but you bet your bottom dollar we'll let you know when they are.

Great Location

Was just in Shanghai and saw this complex. I thought it was another brand. Very cool building expensive area with expensive girls. :)
