Here's a first in the world of hospitality brand experiences: Elle magazine, an undisputed global fashion authority since the 60s, is launching its own branded spa inside the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach. For once, you will actually be able to see all those impossible beauty tips and product mentions come to life.

And while you're putting yourself into the hands of experts for things like the "Elle Spa Signature Facial" or getting your nails done in the spa's salon (which, on this Wednesday morning in noisy, humid Brooklyn, sounds pretty good to us), you'll be right on the Eden Roc's Miami beachfront property.

Now, it's easy for a big name like Elle to throw its weight around—especially after last week's announcement that the Hearst Corporation had acquired almost all of the Elle titles for a whopping $1 billion—so we're going to take a minute and try to figure out if this is a true pamper experience worth your time, or just buzz.

Within the spa, which is open from 8am to 8pm every day, guests will find four infinity pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and a rooftop deck. Sure, there will be light snacks and champagne served no the roof, but the real menu you're after is the customized spa treatment menu. Skin and beauty experts (Tammy Fender, Yael Alkalay and Essie) have all thrown in their two cents—not only is there a signature spa facial, there is even a signature spa scent! The list goes on.

"the pages of Elle come to lift through elite, editorially-inspired treatments such as 'Doctor's Orders' and 'Forever 25.'...Depending on their schedule, guests can spend less than an hour or a whole glorious day experiencing wet spa areas with hot whirlpools, cold plunges, steam sauna and hydro-experience showers before being escorted to the decadent relaxation lounge."

If you still didn't feel like you were benefitting enough from the spa experts over at the 66-year-old fashion magazine, market editors have gone and hand-picked items—spa products, apparel, and beach accessories—to be sold in the spa's boutique. Now that's retail therapy!
