Again, Paris? Down and Out Socialite Still Clings to Hotelier Dream
Paris Hilton's had a rough month. Her latest reality show on Oxygen has tanked and her relationship with former Vegas nightclub man, Cy Waits, has ended. But while America continues to lose interest in the blonde socialite, Paris still has big dreams of expanding her branded empire which already includes hair extensions, shoes and perfumes.
Yes, once again, that includes creating her own line of hotels. We've been here before folks. First with Nicky O Hotels from Paris' sister, Nicky and last year when Paris said, "And right now that I've done everything I’ve wanted to do, that would definitely be the next step, to open my own hotels.”
This year, Paris is adding beach clubs into the mix, telling Parade.com:
The next step for me is to be more involved with real estate. I'd love to open my own hotel and beach clubs. I'm actually in the process right now of doing that, so I'm excited."
In the process? Oh boy, this may actually happen this time around.
If it does, there's only one real way to do it--make it the Anti-Paris establishment. That means don't include the name Paris in the hotel name, don't include the color pink anywhere on the premises, hire up and coming interior designers (not your mom's friends) and focus on making the hotel a service-oriented, pampering retreat--not just another nightclub for reality stars and sycophants.
