You won't be forced to just eat a plate of veggies. The meat-and-seafood-packed menu features oysters in the half shell and crudo like hamachi with pink peppercorns, olive oil, lemon and sea salt. Salad options aren't boring either, like the roasted beets, burrata, grapefruit and pistachios. Appetizers include grilled Japanese octopus with potatoes and capers and beef carpaccio with baby artichokes, Meyer Lemon and dry Jack.
For the main course, go for 16-ounce bone-in ribeye with sides like braised Tuscan kale and Parmesan farro; oven-roasted monkfish with baby artichokes, fingerling potatoes and lemon confit; or red-wine-braised short rib with root veggies and black garlic gremolata.
The gluten-free menu is part of the hotel's Live Well Again program. The idea is to pamper yourself to truly live well, whether it be through spa treatments, exercise or healthy gluten-free eats.
Since hotels are quick to hop on the trend bandwagon, especially when it comes to health and fitness, we expect to see more and more of these menus popping up at hotels throughout the summer.
