Ian Schrager's Public Chicago Begins Previews on September 12 for $135 a Night
Are you ready to go Public? Public Chicago, that is?
Break out your credit cards because Ian Schrager's newest hotel brand is now starting previews on September 12 at just $135 a night.
That will get you a "sincere chic" standard queen room with just 225-sq.ft. of space but the rooms do come with a mix of "custom and iconic hand-picked pieces of furniture", 42" LCD TVs, Frette linens, down comforters, customized minibars and iPod docking stations. Oh and yes, our very best friend--Free WiFi. If you want to upgrade to a king bed, that will only cost you $215 a night.
Even if you aren't in looking to spend the night in Public (heh, there's more where that came from folks!), you should head over to the slightly revamped Public website which has a cool flash intro that cheekily touts Schrager's other hotel achievements plus there's a musical appearance by They Might Be Giants.
Meanwhile as we count the days until September 12, we'll be scheming of all the things we will do in Public. (Too easy! Like Weinergate!)
