It's no wonder that West made the hotel his temporary bachelor pad. Aside from having his birthday bash at the Mercer's exclusive club, he rented out at least one of the six floors at the hotel back in February, the New York Post reported, and turned it into a recording studio. He worked on a soon-to-be-released album, Watch the Throne, with Jay-Z there.
We'd wager that the "All of the Lights" rapper is holing up in the 1,375-square-foot penthouse suite, which comes with a living room, dining room, kitchenette, two bedrooms and hardwood floors. It goes for $3,300 a night.
