Who's Ready for JetSetter UK? The Successful Sale Site Hops the Pond

Oh wow. According to TNooz, there are now two million members of hotel "sample sale" deal site JetSetter.com. As part of the Gilt Groupe empire, we figured they'd be strong...but 2 milly in under two years. Niiiice.

As a sort of celebration, JetSetter is doing what a jetsetter does...going abroad. Even though the site focuses on setting North American clientele up with the best room rates at the poshest hotels around the world, apparently 10% of their revenue gushes in from "subscribers outside the US."

Thus, please welcome the JetSetter London office, which currenly only employs four people but will surely blow up once those bargain-loving Brits get their clicks on. Recently JetSetter has even scored some of the most exclusive, new-build hotels to offer on sale—the Armani Dubai and the Missoni Kuwait. Color us continually impressed.

Also new at JetSetter? Their personal trip planning service, which allows members to connect with one of the site's globetrotting editors to help book hotels, cruises and tour packages. No airfare or events yet, but way way back when we spoke with JetSetter top dog Drew Patterson at the launch, he didn't rule out one day offering First Class airfare.

Right now, the www.jetsetter.co.uk site just redirects to the US homepage, but we'll keep a watch out for the launch of the UK site very, very soon. For now, you can always become a member here.
