It took a while but The Maison 140 Hotel in Beverly Hills has finally finished up the room renovations that it began back in 2009.

The facelift was overseen by Viceroy Hotels in-house designer, Kelly Wearstler who redesigned all 44 rooms in a Parisian style. Gone is the old yellow and grey decor and now in its place is a vibrant orange and red color scheme, er as Wearstler describes it "persimmon" palette with new beds, headboards, curtains, chairs and desks.

To celebrate the hotel rooms' new look, the hotel is offering a Renew Package which gives guests welcome champagne, a continental breakfast, complimentary parking and internet for just $185 a night. (The deal is good through June 30th.)

This is a great deal if you want an affordable boutique hotel close to the center of Beverly Hills but just keep in mind, the hotel doesn't have much of a lobby or any other public spaces for that matter. However, you can pop over to the hotel's sister properties--the Avalon and the L'Ermitage to use the pool or have dinner.
