Where The Celebs Are at The Cannes Film Festival

Celebs have been flooding Cannes, France, for the city's famous film festival. And the hotel that's seeing some of the most action from the 64th annual festival is Hotel Martinez.

There are a number of reasons that the stars stay at the 409-room luxe hotel during the festival. Two-Michelin-star La Palme d'Or is a favorite restaurant among celebrities, its many meeting rooms make it a good spot for parties, and the hotel gives ensures some seclusion, like its private beach. Here are some people who've been spotted there during the fest:

· Cannes Film Festival jury president Robert DeNiro and jury member Uma Thurman hung out on one of the hotel's balconies, the Toronto Sun reported. Perhaps they were comparing and contrasting Kung Fu Panda 2 and Puss in Boots?

· Diane Kruger, who will star in the upcoming flick Special Forces, was seen cuddling Joshua Jackson at the hotel's penthouse balcony, according to PopSugar.

· In addition, the hotel was the site of a Calvin Klein party honoring women in independent film. Uma and Rosario Dawson were among the actresses recognized. Vanessa Hudgens also swung by to give her support.

· On the fest's opening night, Lady Gaga performed in front of the Hotel Martinez to perform on TV show Le Grand Journal's live stage, the Hollywood Reporter said.
