Would You Book a Hotel Based on a Haiku About The Place?

The other week we checked out, CheckYourRoom.com which allows you to pick your hotel based on a personality quiz. It was a novel idea, perfect for people who know they want to get away but don't know to where. But if you're already bored of personality quizes, we've now learned you can pick your hotel based on a haiku about the property.
Hotel Haiku creates a 5-7-5 ditty that is supposed to capture the vibe of the hotel. To go along with the verse, is a giant photo of the hotel. And that's it. There are no room types listed, no lengthy descriptions of a hotel's "cool" factor or location and nary a mention of amenities. All that's there is the ditty, the photo and a link to the hotel's booking site.
The site and its hotels and notels (rental accommodations not within hotels) are curated by Garri Rayner who also writes all the haikus. This is certainly putting some fun back into the hotel booking process but could we solely pick a hotel based on three random lines of poetry? Let's see...
For The Night Hotel in NYC, they put forth this haiku:
Nocturnal hipsters
Fornicate in Manhattan
Gotham after dark
Oh god. No, no, no. Do not want. What about the Pantone Hotel in Brussels?
Spectrum of comforts
Where vivid colours reside
Awaken your senses
Ok a little better. Onto Mama Shelter in Paris:
Stark but not naked
An Apple in every room
Eat, sleep and then play
Much better but still we're not going to book a hotel based on haikus alone. Yet the best part of Hotel Haiku is that it has some really cool European hotel properties on here, some of which we've never heard before.
So much like CheckYouRoom.com, Hotel Haiku is a great place to go for some inspiration. But we're still going to do our normal due diligence on the hotels before we book (i.e. reviews research and price compare.)
