More From the Royal Wedding Ripoffs Department

While hotels around the world go package mad for the Royal Wedding, Londoners are also trying to cash in on the nuptials by advertising their spare rooms, sofa beds and houses on sites such as gumtree, Airbnb and rent my house.
Even estate agents are listing rentals for that week whilst home owners jet off abroad on their holidays.
But if you’re thinking these alternatives will be cheaper than a hotel, think again. Some of them are charging a hefty price with one double room in a flatshare listed for £2,400 per week! For a room with shared bathroom? Royal Rip Off!
There are some cheap ones though this two bedroom flat in Maida Vale looks OK for £750 per week, but it’s in Maida Vale which isn't the most central of locations.
If you are thinking of staying in a house rather than a room make sure you do your research so you don’t get scammed or end up staying with a weirdo.
Plus check out the hotels a little further from central London, contrary to popular belief not all London hotels have sold out. And if you get really desperate there’s always Camp Royale.
