As the competition heats up between hotels in central London let’s not forget the airports which are also getting their fairshare of newies and refurbs.
The latest hotel to announce its opening is the Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. Not content with having one hotel at Terminal 4 Hilton are opening a second at Terminal 5.
The hotel is scheduled to open August 2011 leaving plenty of time for the 2012 Olympics. Set in 13 acres of gardens, the property will even have its own stream, we’re not sure what local residents will have to say about that but it’s better than a new runway right?
The hotel will also feature a restaurant, bar, spa and conference facilities. No word of rates yet but rooms at Hilton London Heathrow Terminal Four start from approx £60.
