The Four Seasons George V Has Finally Fixed Itself Up
The last time we popped into the Four Seasons George V in Paris their fugly carpeting had us wondering who would pay $1,000 a night to stay in such an outdated hotel? Perhaps the folks at FSGV asked themselves the same thing because they have just completed a three-year renovation on the hotel, to be unveiled this month.
Designer Pierre Yves-Rochon is the brains behind the $28 million revamp and each of the 245 rooms have been brought into the 21st century with coffee-making machines, extra sockets, bigger mirrors and extra TVs. A new Honeymoon Suite has also been created with five terraces and 360 degree views over Paris.
Tres Romantic but five terraces, seriously who needs five terraces? Well, if you're that type of person, then you should know the Honeymoon suite will open not be open until June 1st.
Standard room rates start at 750 Euros per night, which is one hell of a wedge! And um, we didn't see any mention of renovating the public spaces. Hopefully, that's next.
