It maybe six months late but the St John Hotel has finally opened. The hotel opened on Saturday and it’s a good job as after three cancelled opening dates, we were starting to think it would never open.
Whilst the hotel might not even be a week old yet the first bloggers have already been in to review the restaurant, which is the main draw of the hotel. The rooms were made solely with the diners in mind although you don’t actually have to eat there to be able to stay there.
We have to say from the look of these pics, the place looks pretty plain to us. Especially the restaurant and bar area which are supposed to be its selling point. It’s not that we mind plain and basic but surely the prices should match, and with the cheapest room rate at £240 we have to say we think it looks a little over priced.
The hotel is fully booked until Friday, so if you do want to stay there you’re going to have to wait until then.
