With Memorial Day just a few weeks away, it's time to start thinking about your Start of Summer vacay plans. And while the Jersey Shore may have stolen the spotlight from the Hamptons as far as interesting characters go, the Hamptons hotel scene still remains hot.

Opening this Memorial Day weekend is Capri Southampton which promises not just hotel rooms (31 in total) but a (OMG) Nobu restaurant, a Cynthia Rowley Shop and its very own Bathing Club aka pool scene.

While the draw of Nobu and Cynthia Rowley are self-explanatory, it's the latter offering that has us most curious about Capri, especially since the beach is not quite close by. The website is not much more than a landing page at this point (no rezzies, no room descriptions, nada) but here is how the PR peeps are describing the BC.

The Bathing Club at Capri is a lushly landscaped oasis hidden in the heart of Southampton. With a myriad of gardens, daybeds, and sun-soaked lounge chairs, it is an all-day escape from reality. The Bathing Club is where you will spend your day poolside with a great book, an organic smoothie, and a dedicated attendant. Indulge in a yoga class or quiet breakfast. The day is yours.

At sunset, The Bathing Club offers intimate areas for dining and cocktails under the stars, a place to catch up with friends by the fire-pit, or where you’ll come for live music, an outdoor screening, or private affair.

And don't forget--yellow and white striped beach balls!

The hotel is a joint project from David Edelstein and Jackie Mansfield of The W South Beach and hospitality consultant Steven Kamali, who also has a stake in another Hamptons hotel-- The Surf Lodge. So expect this to place to be filled with bolded names on the weekends followed by Page Six mentions on Mondays.

Room rates at the Capri Southampton will average around $475 a night.
