An O'Donnell rep sent the following statement to The Advocate:
"She is NOT going to be living or renting a Donald Trump apartment and is still looking at real estate options."
The reason she backed out of her hotel plans is that the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation called for a boycott of all of Trump's businesses. The Donald, who's considering running for president, has hit the campaign trail and openly expressed his feelings against gay marriage.
It seems hard to find a hotels that are LGBT-friendly nowadays. The Cosmopolitan in Vegas recently kicked out a transgendered woman for going to the ladies' room. The Vegas hotel has since rescinded the ban and welcomed the transgendered guest back into the property. But it still goes to show that hotels still have a long way to go in accommodating LGBT guests.
