ArtPadSF will make the most of the Phoenix's venue by doing some installations in and around the pool. In "Swimming Pool Social Sculpture," California College of the Arts grad students will dive in for a series of synchronized and sculptural performances. And LTMH Gallery will install "Dandelions," a teardrop arrangement of air plant sculptures, above the pool.
At night, the fair will continue with live bands and DJs, and "No Dialogue," a series of outdoor video art screenings curated by Bay Area artist-author Dorka Keehn and Jasmine Moorhead of KrowsWork Gallery.
In addition to the art on display, there will be speaker panels with art experts discussing such topics as "California Contemporary Art in Context" and "Collecting Street Art." To join the conversation, art fair tickets cost $10.
