Jay-Z and Beyonce Run the World From Atop Le Meurice
Beyonce and Jay-Z are living large at Hotel Le Meurice. The married couple are shacked up in a penthouse suite overlooking the Tuileries Garden for an eye-popping $20,000 a night. Beyonce better get on selling her new single, "Run the World (Girls)."
So what does $20,000 a night buy you? You get the two-story Belle Etoile suite with a private elevator, kitchen, glass-enclosed dining room and large private terrace at the beautiful Paris hotel. Le Meurice is one of Beyonce's faves, and it seems to be the hotel of choice for other hip-hop elite, with such fans as Eminem and Kanye West.
Despite shelling out big bucks for a huge space, the couple also got another suite to use as a studio. Jay-Z and Beyonce apparently came to the hotel with luggage full of musical equipment. According to People, the twosome are recording a new song featuring Kanye West, and are possibly working on a video. The magazine added that the duo has been working nights on her album.
But they did manage to have some fun in Paris. Beyonce took her 6-year-old nephew to Disneyland Paris, where the bootylicious singer bought a Goofy cap for herself. Afterward, she went to Phantom Manor and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
