Earth Day is Friday, and if you are looking to mark the occasion, you can spend the night at a hotel. A number of hotels are joining in the eco-friendly celebration and are offering everything from organic meals to special spa packages to green-themed kiddie crafts.

Check out what three hotels are doing for Earth Day after the jump.

· Kimpton Hotels
Kimpton is having its first EarthCare Week, which runs through Friday. Festivities include a Recycling Roundup, where Kimpton employees will dress up in cowboy attire and invite the community to bring unwanted computer equipment to designated Kimpton hotels today to April 20 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.; a special organic menu in its restaurants; and an Ohhh So Organic Massage package that includes an overnight stay and a 50-minute in-room signature organic Kerstin Florian massage for $50 more than the best available rate (use OHHH booking code). The package is available through May 1.

· Hotel Monteleone
Ecologist Penny Meaux Edwards will visit the hotel on Friday to unveil her Ecological Quilt titled, "Beyond the Horizon." Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne will present the quilt. Hotel Monteleone will also offer exhibits of various environmental organizations that are working to preserve the environment. The exhibitions are free and open to the public starting at 11 a.m.

· Omni Mount Washington Resort
The Omni is making Earth Day a family affair and planning a bunch of activities for parents and their kiddies. They can make an edible Rice Krispie earth craft, recycled mosaic picture frames, recycled magnets and birdfeeders. Families can also go on an outdoor hike and create a nature journal.
