Supposedly the hotel is opening on April 2nd but probably only for special guests (if indeed it opens on this day at all.) According to the website, the hotel will "fully open" to the general public on April 16. Phew, just in time for the Royal Wedding. ACK! Did we just say that? Should you be so inclined, teeny superior queen rooms are available for £289 a night.

Yes, we're having a bit of a moment with London Hotels and thankfully, it has nothing to do with the Royal Wedding (#pleasegodmakethisbeoversoonthankyou). No, right now we're obsessed with London because of all the new hotels in the works.
Earlier this week we checked in The Belgraves which we learned is now opening in the fall. Today we have an update on the Corinthia Hotel just off Trafalgar Square.
Our London spy was sauntering by the hotel and snapped these pre-opening shots for us. There's not much to see here thanks to the mysterious green cellophane on the windows and the boarded up entrance, but our spy did notice a grand chandelier hanging in the place. Wonder that's for? Please let it be something cool.
