Checking in on Hilton's Brand-Spankin'-New Home2 Suites Brand

March 24, 2011 at 9:46 AM | by | ()

It's been almost two months since Hilton's contemporary Home2 Suites brand launched in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and the second hotel just opened March 10 in Layton, Utah. So we figured it was a good time to check in to see what people have been saying about the stylish all-suite hotels, which comes with free WiFi, iPhone and iPad iHome docking stations and a complimentary continental breakfast.

We checked in on TripAdvisor to see what the buzz is. But there's only one TripAdvisor review, likely because the hotels aren't in major cities.

The sole review of the Fayetteville hotel is pretty positive:

It's amazingly clean, super friendly staff, amazing rooms. There are 2 huge awesome flat screen tvs in addition to the extremely nice and modern kitchen. The pool is simply nice and inviting, as is the gym.

There likely will be more reviews popping up soon. The brand plans to open 63 properties, with an additional 30 in development. Hotels slated for a 2011 or early 2012 opening include those in San Antonio; Baltimore; Lexington Park, Maryland; Jacksonville, North Carolina; and West Valley City, Utah. Home2 Suites will also delve into such major cities as Dallas, Houston, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., and it's been approved to expand into Canada and Mexico.
