Roe is the program coordinator for Chicago Public Schools Advanced Arts Education Program at Gallery 37, a nonprofit city arts organization. He specializes in abstract acrylic and marker works as well as murals. Roberts, who focuses on heavily textured oil paintings, is an Art Institute of Chicago alum whose works have been featured at the Hyde Park Art Center and at Art Chicago. Each artist will hold a discussion series during evening wine hour, and a reception inviting locals to check out the installation.
The art series is supposed to create some buzz around the city's art scene and how the hotel embodies it. You can take in the first installation through July 31. If you see a piece you like, you're in luck; they are all available for purchase.
