St Pancras Renaissance Pushes Back Its Opening (But It's Still Running Early)

We thought it was too good to be true. Back in January, we learned that the St Pancras Renaissance London would be opening early on March 14 rather than the originally scheduled 5 May.

But just now when we took a look at the hotel website, our hearts sank to see it simply declaring a March opening. Going further, we found you can’t book rooms for March 14 anymore – the earliest available date is March 28. Bummer.

What’s worse is that prices have gone up, too. They did have rooms going for £188, but now, the cheapest available rate on the new opening date is £270, which at least includes breakfast for two. If you want to use the Grand Opening Rate deal – which offers 25 percent off – you’ll have to wait until mid April, when you can get in for £206 (you’ll need code L9Z).

Still, we won’t be too harsh on this one. It’s still opening early, and we’re still hoping it’s going to be beautiful. Just look at that staircase, for starters.
