The meat match-up will pit the city's best chefs against one another. At the Renaissance Blackstone, the pig showdown will be against 2010 Food & Wine Best New Chef Mike Sheerin of 3 Floyds Brewpub, Andrew Zimmerman of Sepia, Michael Fiorello of the hotel's Mercat a la Planxa, Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard of Girl and the Goat, and Chris Pandel of the Bristol. At the Ritz-Carlton, Alex Seidel of Fruition, Frank Bonnano of Mizuna/Bones/Luca de Italia, Jennifer Jasinski of Rioja/Euclid Hall, Top Chef alum Kelly Liken of Kelly Liken and Lachlan Mackinnon of Frasca Food & Wine will compete.
The winner from each city will go to go the finale, Grand Cochon, at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen on June 19. But until then, you can fill up on piggy goodness at the hotel events for $125.
