Foodies will want to pig out at Cochon 555, a traveling culinary competition that features five chefs cooking up a snout-to-tail menu of heritage breed oinkers. The pork party will come to the Renaissance Blackstone Chicago on March 20 and the Ritz-Carlton Denver, the Southwest regional contest, on April 3.

The third annual porkfest will hit the two hotels as part of its 10-city national tour to promote sustainable pig farming. You foodies will get to sample the chefs' meaty dishes and watch them face off in a butchering contest.

The meat match-up will pit the city's best chefs against one another. At the Renaissance Blackstone, the pig showdown will be against 2010 Food & Wine Best New Chef Mike Sheerin of 3 Floyds Brewpub, Andrew Zimmerman of Sepia, Michael Fiorello of the hotel's Mercat a la Planxa, Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard of Girl and the Goat, and Chris Pandel of the Bristol. At the Ritz-Carlton, Alex Seidel of Fruition, Frank Bonnano of Mizuna/Bones/Luca de Italia, Jennifer Jasinski of Rioja/Euclid Hall, Top Chef alum Kelly Liken of Kelly Liken and Lachlan Mackinnon of Frasca Food & Wine will compete.

The winner from each city will go to go the finale, Grand Cochon, at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen on June 19. But until then, you can fill up on piggy goodness at the hotel events for $125.
