Hamburgers made with duck and foie gras have made it onto menus, but the Standard has opted for more unusual fillings, like wild boar and Colorado lamb. In case you think bear is too adventurous for your taste, the chef may opt to make it a bear blend with bear, venison and elk. Or you can wait for next week, when the rotating meat menu will feature a shrimp burger.
If you go for the bold burgers, you won't have to worry about forking over a lot of money to try the unusual patties. Each will cost between $10 and $12. We don't know about taking a bite of out Smokey, but that cheap shrimp burger might tempt us to make multiple visits next week.
