Every Valentine's Day, we're inundated with crazy hotel packages that would require a Real Housewives-sized budget (and aren't all that inventive). So this week, we're taking a look at affordable (well, relatively - we're ending the week on a high) but fun deals that us regular folks would book.

If you really want to impress your lady love this Valentine's Day and chocolates and flowers just ain't gonna cut it, top all her other suitors' lame gifts by whisking her off to St. Barth's. Hotel Carl Gustaf will give you an extra incentive: The hotel's slashing 25 percent off with its Romantic Retreat package.

You'll get to shack up in one of the 14 private cottages with a living room, kitchenette, terrace and private plunge pool. Plus, you'll have a sweet view; the cottage overlooks Gustavia Harbor.

When you're done taking a dip in the plunge pool, you two lovebirds will get a spa day, starting with a couples' massage. Then the fella gets a detoxifying Energy facial and the lady is treated to the signature Aromaplastie facial.

As part of the deal, you'll also get a five-day car rental, a daily continental breakfast served to you in your cottage, a half bottle of bubbly, and a dinner for two.

The five-night package will set you back $5,742, which isn't cheap by any means, but hey, you do receive a lot of perks, it's discounted and you get to spend five days in St. Barth's. That'll win you her heart for sure. Just don't tell her you got it on the cheap.
