Make a Decent Proposal, Win A Stay At All Langham Hotels Plus Air Miles To Get You There
We may be cynical souls here at HotelChatter but all the London Royal Wedding packages popping up over the place are making us feel a little queasy. Except this competion, which has just popped up from the Langham Hotel London: partly because its royal connections are extremely tenuous, but mainly because it involves giving away a pretty cool prize, rather than swindling tourists out of £££££.
Langham Hotels (as a whole, not just London) are celebrating the Royal Wedding with a contest to find the World’s Most Romantic Proposal. And put away your sick bags, because there’s an incredible prize at stake: two nights in each of the eight Langham destinations worldwide, plus a million frequent flyer miles to get you hotel hopping.
Best of all, this isn’t restricted to soppy couples, because it doesn’t have to be a real proposal. So you can act out your prince/princess fantasies without any pesky repercussions in the real world.
All you have to do is film your proposal of a lifetime, or a description of it (lasting up to a minute), upload it here and link back to it on their Facebook page.
According to the bumph:
The entry can be a videoblog, or a video of the actual marriage proposal itself lasting up to one minute.
You have until April 29 to submit your proposal; Langham will then select 10 finalists in May, who’ll then have to describe how they’d spend their prize; the winner will then get to act out their dream holiday and do a video blog on it for the hotels, between June and December.
Oh, and you’ll also get airport transfers and afternoon tea at each destination.
