Waldorf Astoria's Syon Park Delays Its Opening (Though Kate Moss Has Popped By Already)
Another day, another hotel delay. This time it's the turn of the Waldorf Astoria's London Syon Park Hotel. It should have opened on Tuesday, but, surprise surprise, hotel will now open on March 8th or so it says on the hotel's website.
There is no reason given for the delay but it looks like they've already had their first visitor - a certain Miss Moss stopped by with Mario Testino to shoot the campaign for the Vogue Eyewear Spring/Summer collection. Which makes us want to visit even more! If it's good enough for Mossy, it's good enough for us.
The hotel has also just been chosen by Laurent-Perrier as their official Champagne House, great news for the hotel's Peacock Bar which will no doubt be full of West End city boys.
Room rates seem to have gone down a little with prices starting at £319 for a King Syon Room. For that, you get heated floors, private balconys, Apple entertainment system, mood-lit rain showers, and free WiFi.
