More specifically Bulgari diamonds, but at least we have something in common—diamonds are also our best friends, or we wish they were. This week, Marriott International has confirmed that they'll take their partnership with luxury Italian jewellery brand Bulgari to the next level.

The duo of brands are planning to expand their luxury hotel chain worth a whopping $140m dollars. They've already had two Bulgari Hotels for some years now, the Bulgari Hotel Milano and Bulgari Bali.

The new hotels will be located around the world, with the first new property opening early 2012 in London. Well it would be, wouldn’t it? Just in time for the Olympics and all. The hotel will be located in Knightsbridge on the site of the old Knightsbridge Palace Hotel, making a strong showing with six stories containing only deluxe suites, a restaurant, ballroom (what a surprise, another hotel with a ballroom!), a gym, a 25 metre pool and conservatory.

Following London, the group are planning to add hotels in Rome, Paris, New York, Miami, southern California and other small islands. No rates for the London hotel yet, but we have a feeling they will be molto expensive, especially when you consider that Bulgari Hotel Milan can reach up to $700 per night for their lowest category room.
