As for the rooms, we have mixed feelings. We like the overall style – bright, but not clinical thanks to the wood flooring and that gorgeous lit up panel that functions as a bathroom wall. In fact, the bathroom and hall area are both gorgeous (green mosaic tiles FTW!) - but we're not convinced that carpet goes with the rest of the decor, and the white plastic paneling behind the bed looks a tiny bit stark. The play area, however, looks great.
Sadly, there are peekaboo bathrooms in effect, but at least it’s a novel, Asian interpretation of a peekaboo with wooden slats that you can (presumably) turn round to block the tub from view.
But it gets us thinking: what the hell went wrong with the W London rooms? Answers on a postcard please.
