W London Opens With A Bang (And Top Celebs)

Emma Watson and Lily Cole, gossiping about Mr W
It’s here. It's time. The W London Leicester Square is open and boy do they know how to throw an opening party! Last night at exactly one minute past midnight the hotel threw open its doors to welcome a host of celebs to its opening party, which, handily, doubled as the official BAFTA afterparty.
Guests at the hotel's rock’n’roll bar Wyld included Helena Bonham Carter, Emma Watson, Minnie Driver, Paul McCartney, Lily Cole, friend-of-Mr-W David Gandy and Colin Firth, who left the hotel at 4.15am. The Daily Mail got plenty of pics of the guests enjoying the new hotel although most left afterwards opting not to stay the night and by the looks of it (mentioning no names, ladies), some people had been over indulging in the specially curated premium tequila selection.
But what does Mr W have to say about the opening? Well for once he is remaining tight lipped, having not updated his Facebook page since Friday morning.
If you want to stay over tonight, there are still rooms available. They're starting at £269 plus VAT and can be booked on the hotel’s website.
