Loews Hotels Want You To Make Whoopie (Pies) For Valentine's Day

Last week we gave you the lowdown on Valentine's Day deals that we'd actually book. This week, it's time to show you the strange, outrageous and plain cray-cray packages that are out there.

Loews' Whoopie Weekend package for Valentine's Day is a bit of a cocktease. It sounds naughty enough—spending the romantic holiday making whoopie. But the only whoopie that will be made are pies.

Granted, whoopie pies are darned delicious. You get to create your own with marshmallow cream, chocolate mousse and dulce de leche fillings as part of the package. But you probably didn't want to spend your V-Day making the cookie-like treats.

We're thinking the package is probably better for those couples who are a little hesitant to hit the sheets. You new lovebirds can get to know each other during the whoopie pie-making session and, if the weekend goes well, you can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast in bed. If it doesn't go so well, you can have it in the hotel restaurant. To add to the G-rated fun, you both will get cheesy matching "Make Whoopie at Loews" T-shirts. Aww.

Whoopie Weekends are good Thursdays to Saturdays through February 14. The package is available at 15 Loews hotels, starting at $124 a night.
