Every Valentine's Day, we're inundated with crazy hotel packages that would require a Real Housewives-sized budget (and aren't all that inventive). So this week, we're taking a look at affordable, but fun deals that us regular folks would book.

Celebs like Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and the entire Real Housewives of New York City cast would have you believe that the Hamptons is only a summertime destination, but the tony Long Island haunt for the rich and fabulous is a good spot to try all year round. Should you bring your lady love or man meat to East Hampton's c/o The Maidstone for Valentine's Day weekend, you won't have to fight your way through the star-stalking masses. Also, you can add your dog into the mix.

Yes, the hotel will let you'll bring Fido along for your weekend lovefest as part of its two-night Puppy Love package. Spoil your dog with a gourmet dinner or a Valentine's Day treat while you and your honey take advantage of the deal's free champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.

The Maidstone will set the mood, throwing in flowers and a scented Malin + Goetz candle as part of the package. After your bubbles and sugar, move onto the chef's tasting menu dinner with two to three courses and wine pairings. You'll only get dinner one night, but on both mornings of your stay, you'll get breakfast, which can be delivered up to your room.
