Kelsey Grammer Books the Plaza For His Wedding Reception
Here’s some news to detract from the Sheen of bad stuff that we can’t help but feel is still kinda tarnishing The Plaza – Kelsey Grammer and his flight attendant honey just chose it as the spot for their wedding reception.
According to the New York Post, they’ve booked the ballroom on February 25 at a grand cost of $100,000.
A source told the Post:
Kelsey and Kayte have booked the Plaza ballroom for the reception. Despite the lavish surroundings, they want an intimate wedding with less than 150 guests. Kayte has laid out all the details, all the timings. The room will be decorated all in white, including a white cake.
No really, a white cake. For a wedding! How very revolutionary. Still, at least this time we can say things are being done the traditional way in the Plaza.
The source added that “a lot” of Kayte’s family are being flown in from England (yay for Virgin Atlantic family rates!) and put up in the hotel. So presumably Kelsey and Kayte will be spending their wedding night there too. We assume they'll take better care of their suite than the last celeb.
Just one small matter – Kelsey isn’t divorced from Camille yet (so maybe forget what we said about the de-tarnishing effect). Here’s hoping the Plaza has a generous cancellation policy…
