Order More Missoni Bikinis Because Hotel Missoni is Heading to Mauritius
After taking on Edinburgh and Kuwait as well as planting their stylish chevron flag in Oman, Turkey and Brazil, the Hotel Missoni brand is heading to yet another exotic, far-flung destination--Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.
Parent company Rezidor Hotels just announced today that the Hotel Missoni Mauritius will open in 2014 overlooking the village of Baie du Cap with 80 luxury suites, unobstructed ocean and beach views and of course, all the Missoni goodness you can imagine. (Actually, you don't have to imagine you can peep a hotel room at the Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh, thanks to us.)
The fashionable hotel will also feature the Hotel Missoni's signature Cucina restaurant, an authentic Italian cafe called Choco Cafe, an all-day dining restaurant, a lounge bar and a beach/pool bar.
As for leisure activities, expect to hit the beach, swim in the hotel's outdoor pools (yes, plural pools), play tennis, and relax in the spa. There's even going to be a kids club!
Our minds are spinning. Not only will there be Missoni bikinis on display but Missoni beach towels, Missoni flip-flops, Missoni snorkeling gear, Missoni tennis rackets, Missoni beach balls, Missoni spa bathrobes, Missoni children's bathing suits, gah! So many things to slap on the Missoni design. It will be like the Missoni for Target frenzy of September but you know, more expensive.
