If you're an army vet

Veterans get honored by the Pacifica Hotel Company (a collection of Best Westerns and other inns along the coast of California) during a half-off Veterans Day sale. To secure the deal, guests must present a valid military ID during check-in for a one-night stay this Friday 11. Says VP of Sales and Marketing Lori Keller: "“We wanted to show our appreciation for those in the military and if the day is supposed to be lucky – well, why not!" (Note: Best Western Half Moon Bay Lodge, above, is sold out for 11/11/11, but rates normally start at around $115, and the company manages 23 other properties throughout San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego).

If you wanna get drunk while you time travel

Though the hotel technically already celebrated its 100th birthday with awesomely cheap $19.78 rates back in January, Galleria Park is planning something slightly bigger for 11-11-11. Show up on Friday for a "Through The Decades" centennial party, which will transport guests back through each decade inside various themed rooms, each complete with their own themed drink. Drink bourbon in a 1920s speakeasy, head to a black-and-white 50s-style diner, go nuts at an 80s dance party, and hop onto Twitter in the 2000s "social media lobby" with techno music and champagne. Chocolate and wine pairings wil be offered on the hotel's rooftop garden. Need we say more? (Friday 11, 5:30–8:30pm)

If you wanna get rich

Rather thoughtfully, JW Marriott Chicago has planned something for both hotel guests and locals alike—but we think guests get the better end of the deal. According to a rep for the hotel, $111 could be hidden in any of the hotel's safes, to be unlocked with the combo 1111. Additionally, couples who are celebrating a one-year anniversary get $111 rooms (rates normally start around $230), an 11:11pm champagne toast, and an anniversary gift (we'll just take the cash, thank you very much). If you wanna plan ahead

Luckily, for those of you who require more time to plan your 11-11-11 celebrations, Affinia is offering $111.11 rooms on Sundays throughout January, February and March. However, the booking window is only offered this Friday from 11am to 11pm. Log onto the website, enter the code ELEVEN, and pull up $111.11 Sunday night stays in any of Affinia's three cities (New York, Chicago, Washington DC). When you arrive, be sure to ask around for some cupcakes, since we know how much Affinia likes their sweet treats. Don't take no for an answer!
