Both were hiding out in our hotel room closets and had a little tag explaining that they were there for our use during our stay. No smooshing it into our carry on when we left, unless we'd like an extra charge on our credit card bill when we got home.

What a thoughtful, useful touch. Both properties have stunning beaches at their doorstep, not to mention more than one pool each. In other words, lots of opportunities to swan about in little more than a caftan, read, snooze and watch the poolside parade. But where to put our sunscreen, our bottle of water, our snacks and our gossip magsiPad..?

With a loaner amenity like this, we not only have a stylish solution, we also get to continue feeling virtuous by packing as light as possible. 

Beach resorts and hotels with a serious pool scene, take note: More of this, please. Throw in a free or cheap tube of sunscreen and we're yours for life.
