Cute, Hotel-Inspired Etsy Finds For The Holidays

Black Friday has officially come and gone, and though we hate buying into all the commercial hype, we've got to admit—we're starting to feel the clock ticking. Tomorrow is December 1, and before we know it, Christmas will be here! Here to help is HotelChatter's mini gift guide, featuring all hotel-inspired Etsy finds. Browse away, and if you come up with other hotel-related trinkets to add to the list, do let us know!

$9 While not exactly the most flattering piece of jewelry ever made, this is certainly a creative take on the hotel keycard. The designer takes recycled credit, gift and hotel keycards, cuts them into shapes, and then sands the edges to smooth them down. The above pair measures 4 inches long. And if these aren't up your alley, how about a pair made from tiny plastic Monopoly hotels?

$10 This 1930s vintage matchbook comes out of the Blackstone Hotel, which back then was the tallest building in Miami Beach (of course, that's before the Setai came along). We happen to like the pop-up swimming girl on the inside of the matchbook, as well as the little tagline, promoting their continental breakfast.

$4 OK, we admit we're big fans of vintage swizzle sticks—basically cocktail-stirrers with a logo or design on the top. These ones come from the Aladdin in Las Vegas, and feature a miniature magic lamp at the top of each stick. Rub the lamp while you stir your drink! On a non-hotel-related note, we found these Bakelite dice swizzle sticks pretty cute, too.

$10.50 The Westin Peachtree Plaza opened in 1976 as the tallest hotel in the world, though we're pretty these days, the Armani Dubai would have something to say about that now. But if you happen to drink a lot of coffee, this 8 5/8" mug might actually prove practical. Back in Georgia, these novelty mugs were used for signature drinks at the hotel's 72-floor rooftop bar.

$8 Make your tree international with these 3" glass ball ornaments, filled with vintage luggage tags from around the world. London, New York, Syria, Switzerland and New Zealand are all represented in this seller's collection of vintage vellum ornaments. What travel nerd wouldn't love this?
