
The hotel will be housed in a former textile factory and provide 73 rooms, plus a ground-floor restaurant and 6th-floor rooftop bar. Additionally, in the basement, guests will enjoy a 60-person screening room—probably as a winter alternative to those popular outdoor summer movie nights they do in nearby McCarren Park.
With all the development going on down by the Williamsburg waterfront and North Brooklyn area, it is nice to see at least some of the efforts being turned towards hotels too. How many luxury condos can a neighborhood support after all? While Hotel Williamsburg is split between residences and the hotel, this newly renovated building will function solely as a hotel.
So when your parents or friends come to visit, you can give them a choice: tacos? or a movie theater? Or both?
