Where to Gobble Giblets Tomorrow, Miami Hotel Style

In Miami for Thanksgiving? Congrats! It's going to be 77 degrees on Thursday. And we assume if you're visiting--and staying in a hotel--you won't be looking for a frozen bird and a stove, but a decadent spread to enjoy before stumbling back to your room for a post-feast nap.

Here are our top five picks for Thanksgiving tables on the beach:

1. The Fontainebleau: Because, hey, Ricky Martin's there! Also, they have a bunch of restaurants to choose from, all doing a holiday meal. If you want a Chinese spin, opt for Hakkasan. Italian? Scarpetta.

2. The Betsy Hotel: We love BLT Steak, and steakhouses seem apt for a Thanksgiving meal. Here, you'll find a prix fixe Thanksgiving Day Dinner between 4–9 p.m., for $72 per person (plus tax and tip). Peruse the classic holiday menu here.

3. The Setai: Friends did the opulent Setai spread for Thanksgiving last year and gave it a hearty thumbs up. You can opt for a Thanksgiving version of The Restaurant's (usually on Sunday) Jazz Brunch between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.--that includes unlimited bubbles and Bloddies for $95 per person--or take a seat for dinner between 7–11 p.m. if you prefer a four-course Thanksgiving menu. That's also $95 (without the hooch) or $145 with wine. An Asian-inspired menu is also available.

4. Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach: The consistently good 1500° is hosting a Thanksgiving Day Dinner Buffet., from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.--and it's reasonably priced, at $60 per person and $30 per child (plus tax and tip). Carved turkey may be the star of the show anywhere else, but Paula DaSilva and her team do amazing things with veggies, so we'd load up on sides: honey glazed sweet potatoes casserole, corn bread stuffing and cranberry chutney.

5. The Palms Hotel and Spa: We're fans of Essensia, and their 3-course menu on Thanksgiving only deepens the love: the entree choice is between cider-brined turkey, honey-baked ham or a vegetarian-friendly stuffed butternut squash. Best of all, it's just $39--between 6 and 10 p.m.
