If you're into World of Warcraft and LAN parties, make note of what may be the world's most techie-tastic hotel room. Located miles away from the Valley (that's Silicon, not mall world), Paris' Novotel Vaugirard-Montparnasse has teamed with Microsoft to unveil a room kitted out with electronic perks such as a SENSORIT digital mirror, a multitasking piece of decor that allows guests to primp as they simultaneously check news.

Other touches worth geeking out over include an Xbox Kinect, and the Windows Phone 7 and Nokia Lumia, though the latter two won't be available in France until the end of 2011.

You can book the temporary room—priced at 199 euros per night—until Valentine's Day 2012, when the futuristic love affair effectively ends. (Tip: Call the hotel to enquire about Room 3120, as there's scant information on the official website.) But fear not, nerds of the world: Todesco has announced that another European capital city will get a dose of Microsoft's digital love in the following year. Ready your pocket protectors and nasal spray now.
